Privacy Policy
Effective July 6, 2026. This Policy explains how MARKETORA, operated by MARKETORA LLC (“MARKETORA,” “we,” “us”), handles information. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You own your content and your contacts, and you can export or delete them.
Overview
MARKETORA is a marketing and client-management platform for professionals across many industries. This Policy covers the information we handle when you visit our site, create an account, and use the Service. It also explains how we act as a processor for the contacts and leads you manage on the platform.
By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information we collect
Information you provide. Account and identity details (name, email, phone, and a password if you use email sign-in); your business and brand profile (business name, logo, headshot, bio, website, social handles, brand voice and audience notes); the content you create (presentations, pages, listings, cards, reels, email campaigns); the contacts and leads you add or import; messages you send through the Service; and support requests.
Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details on its own secure pages. We receive and store limited billing records such as your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status, and renewal date. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. Usage and device data such as pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and the dates and times of access. Essential cookies keep you signed in (see Cookies and tracking). For email you send through the Service, we record delivery, open, and click events so you can see your results.
Information from third parties. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google. If you connect a CRM or another integration, we receive the data needed to sync it at your direction.

We use information to run the Service and to meet our commitments to you. Where privacy law requires a legal basis, ours are noted in brackets.

AI features and your content
Some features use AI to draft copy, captions, campaigns, and companion messages. When you use them, the prompts and brand details you provide are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response that is returned to you. Our AI provider processes this content to deliver the feature and, under its business terms, does not use it to train its models.
AI output is a starting draft that you review and approve. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features.

Your contacts and leads
People who reach you through your MARKETORA pages, forms, and links provide their details to contact you. For that contact and lead information, you are the controller and we are your processor: we store and process it on your behalf and at your instruction, including syncing it to a CRM if you connect one.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use your contacts' information, for honoring their opt-outs and consent choices, and for responding to their privacy requests. We will assist you with those requests as required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content, it is removed from active systems and purged from routine backups within a limited period. After you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information following a reasonable wind-down period, except where we must retain certain records (for example billing and tax records, or to comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements). Export anything you need before closing your account.
How we protect your data
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption of sensitive fields at rest (such as connected-account tokens), hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, strict per-account isolation, and access controls that limit who can reach your data. Our core infrastructure providers (including Vercel, Neon, and Stripe) maintain recognized security certifications such as SOC 2.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulators as required by law and without undue delay.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Delete your personal information;
- Receive your information in a portable format;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these, email us at info@marketora.me (and, where available, use the privacy controls in your account settings). We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know and access the personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit.
In the past twelve months we have collected the categories described in Information we collect (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and the content you provide), used them for the purposes in How we use your information, and disclosed them only to the service providers listed above. You may exercise your rights, or use an authorized agent, by contacting us at info@marketora.me.
EEA and UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the legal bases noted in How we use your information. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we act as a processor for the contacts you manage, we do so under data-processing terms available on request.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and process information there and in other countries where our providers operate. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional measures where needed.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
